The ORIGINAL 26+6 HOT YOGA – 90 minutes. 26 poses + 2 breathing exercises. Heated Himalaya Room. The room is heated to approximately 104°F with 40% humidity or hotter depending on how much the class can take heat. The temperature varies a few degrees based on the outside environment.Though this style of yoga is purported to have originated with its namesake, Bikram Choudhury, it can be traced back to Bishnu Ghosh, the brother of Paramahansa Yogananda, who founded the Self-Realization Fellowship in 1925.

People with potentially complicating conditions should be very mindful when considering whether to practice in the heat – for example, deconditioned students who have a tendency toward high blood pressure or whose core body temperature tends to run high. In addition, some people simply do not tolerate heat as well as others, and these people need to allow themselves rest periods and water breaks when they attend a class, especially when the heat is extreme.

This class is pure straight Bikram Yoga style. No newcomers, it’s for people who have already done Bikram Yoga in the past. By appointment ONLY you can purchase a space and contact us to arrange the time and space. Semi-private classes
